Travel - how to get to Timisoara:

The best ways to get to Timisoara are to either fly directly into the city with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, AlItalia, Malev, Tarom or WizzAir  (Timisoara Airport: http://aerotim.ro/index.php?lang=en) or take the train from Budapest (Hungarian Railway: http://www.mav.hu/english/index.php). You can find direct flights into Budapest from just about everywhere and the train from Budapest to Timisoara takes about 4 hours. You can also rent a car either in the Budapest or Timisoara airports and drive into the city.

Directions on the roads are generally quite clear.

How to get there - let us know when you are arriving and we can arrange to pick you up at the airport and take you there or to your hotel.

Places to stay:

• Pensiunea Valery I and II: We have arranged to get discounted rates at the wedding reception hotel. They have plenty of rooms for everyone, but we need to book ahead of time. If you could let us know by late March, early April, we will make the reservations for you. Pensiunea Valery is located on the outskirts of the city. If you prefer to stay somewhere more central, we can suggest:
